ALL Manufactured Home (Residential) Park ‘Home-Owners’ in Queensland aka ‘Over 55’s Lifestyle Resorts‘ are eligible to complete the Survey. You DO NOT need to be a QMHOA member.
The Survey was published on our website on 22 April 2026 and sent to our QMHOA Members in a Special Bulletin on the same date with the express intention to engage our members to complete the survey and also that they would forward the email containing a link to the survey to as many members and non-members alike that they might know.
There are 213 Manufactured Home (Residential) Parks and 31,812 home sites registered in Queensland as of the most recent Govt. update
That’s a few; so, we hope to get a good sample, with a little help from our members, their friends, promotion through Home-Owner Committees and our sister organisations.
The purpose of this survey is to help us better understand how Home-Owners feel about life in their park, including:
• community life
• park management
• maintenance and services
• consultation and transparency
• overall satisfaction
As the peak body representing the interests of manufactured Home-Owners in Queensland, QMHOA is committed to helping members benefit fully from their decision to live in a residential lifestyle park.
We want to continue constructive discussions with park owners, Government, and other stakeholders about what is working well, what needs to be protected, and what reforms may still be needed.
The information gathered through this survey will help us speak with greater confidence and clarity on behalf of Home-Owners. The more responses we receive, the more useful the results will be.
Participants are asked to indicate in the survey whether or not they are a QMHOA member. However, You DO NOT need to be a QMHOA member to participate.
We warmly encourage individual Home-Owners, as well as Home-Owners’ Committees and Associations, to please forward this email and share the survey link throughout your park and encourage as many Home-Owner residents as possible to complete it.
QMHOA has been advocating strongly for regulations that are as effective as possible in protecting Home-Owners. Our aim is to help ensure that the quality and standards of park facilities, amenities and services are not allowed to deteriorate over time.
You may have been forwarded an email from a QMHOA member; however, you do not have to be a member to complete the survey.
However, if you are not yet a member and you would like to join, you can register on the following link:
If you have any questions or comments about the survey, or about any other aspect of QMHOA’s work, please contact our Committee Secretary at secretary@qmhoa.org.au
In anticipation, we thank you for participating in our survey and for helping us spread the word far and wide.
Keeping Members Informed
Warm regards,
QMHOA Committee
