Assistance activities

We provide comprehensive, reliable, and knowledgeable assistance to prospective and current homeowners in residential parks.
All our assistance activities are aimed at achieving fairness for all. We work within the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 and in line with our members’ interests and their rights and obligations under the Act.
To facilitate this, we can assist home owners in manufactured parks with many things including setting up Home Owners Committees (HOC) and other ways to make life as a home owner more manageable.

Assistance available for members.

The QMHOA Assistance Service is operated by a small group of consultants with many years of experience with the laws that govern Residential Parks. They are familiar with the legislation involved, the complexities of Site Agreements and the various forms needed for such as home sales and dispute resolution.

Members can obtain, assistance with a particular issue, compiling forms, reports, help with composing evidence or submissions when a matter goes to the Tribunal or representation or support in Mediation or Hearings.

Many home owners living in residential parks never need the QMHOA Assistance Service, but our members agree that it is comforting to know that the service is there if you need it.
