QMHOA advocates for the best interests of its members. Since the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 was last amended in 2017 QMHOA has advocated for further reforms to it. Before and immediately after the 2020 State Election we fought to ensure that reviewing and reforming the Act would be included in the Queensland Housing and Homelessness Action Plan 2021-25 and since then we have advocated strongly at the various stages of the reform processes that are taking place.
On Thursday 24 March 2024 the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Amendment Bill 2024 was introduced to Parliament.
