QMHOA Special Bulletin 14 July 2023 – Notice of AGM 2023

Dear Members

The Committee of QMHOA invite members to attend the Association’s ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING to be held on 22 August 2023 being the Associations Inaugural AGM following the merger of Associated Residential Parks Qld Inc and Manufactured Home Owners Association.

So as to provide an opportunity for members geographically removed from the meeting venue to hear proceedings, the meeting will be live-streamed via Zoom video conferencing platform. Should you wish to participate in this way, please register your interest with the Secretary, who will provide the necessary link to the service.

At this meeting all committee positions will be declared vacant and we now call for nominations from members prepared to serve on the committee. Our monthly meetings are held via Zoom video conferencing which removes the need for committee members to travel to meetings and also enables members not located centrally, the opportunity to nominate for a position and participate in the affairs of the Association.

Nomination forms and a copy of this notice are available for download here  

and we urge all members to consider nominating so our important work can continue.

Please ensure that nomination forms are returned to the Secretary by the 1^st August 2023. A ballot will be held if the nominations received exceed the number of positions available.

As has occurred in the past, a GENERAL MEETING will follow the AGM. Any member wishing to raise an issue is asked to provide the Secretary with brief details for inclusion in the meeting agenda.
