The Queensland Manufactured Home Owners Association Inc. (QMHOA) is an organisation dedicated to protecting the rights and interests of owners of manufactured homes in Queensland.
An amalgamation of ARPQ and MHOA since January 2023, QMHOA is the Premier Manufactured Home Owner Association in Queensland. Our history began over 30 years ago at Hervey Bay as a non-profit, volunteer organisation developed to help prevent unfair treatment of manufactured home owners.
We are a state-wide organisation with our members found in parks and villages from the NSW border to the Atherton Tableland in Far North Qld.
QMHOA is recognised by the Department of Housing and endeavours to work cooperatively with them for the betterment of those choosing to live in residential parks. This work extends to other organisations with an interest in the manufactured homes industry.
Over the years, QMHOA has developed a thorough understanding of the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 to ensure our members receive the benefits it provides, and to identify any defects in the Act to enable us to advocate for change where considered necessary. We are continually lobbying State and Federal Governments on all manners of issues concerning members’ welfare and their rights.
We continually lobby State and Federal Governments on all issues concerning members’ welfare and their rights and are an active member of the Government’s Manufactured Homes Residential Parks Stakeholder Working Party and Right Where You Live Program Partner’s’ Steering Committee. We continue to be a part of workshops, meetings, and consultations with the Government to maintain awareness of latest events and initiatives and ensure that government is aware of residents’ concerns and what is happening in manufactured home parks.
As a volunteer organisation QMHOA is always seeking new members who are manufactured home owners in Queensland. There is strength in numbers so why not join today and help make a difference.
We are happy to provide this website which helps keep manufactured home owners updated on issues that affect their chosen lifestyles, and avenues that can help with problems that may arise.
QMHOA assists members in understanding the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 which governs residential parks and the site agreements (contracts) made under that Act, especially in relation to the settling of disputes between home owners and park operators.

A network of park/village representatives has the ability and capacity to either support our member’s needs or put them in contact with the appropriate QMHOA Officer.
